Unknown shows a few examples of mental health in men not being taken as seriously as it should. The first example we see in the film is when Pyramus tries to talk to his friend, John, about how he's been feeling lately. Instead of the support he was hoping to get, John shut him down and told him he was simply "in his feelings."

According to this article found on EBSCOhost, men tend to avoid therapy, or reaching out at all for that matter, because talking about their feelings may be viewed as "weak", or nonmasculine.

Later on once he was back at home, he attempts to call the suicide hotline to see if he can find some relief there. According to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, men are much more likely to commit suicide than women. In fact, men have a higher suicide rate than women do.

Another example we see is Pyramus drinking excessive amounts of alcohol to cope with his depression. According to that is linked below, men are more likely to abuse drugs and alcohol than women.
